Ugly Sweater Party

This is the youngest child of the clan. I can’t believe he really wanted his picture taken. Even Batman was thinking this was a strange occurance. But here we are taking pictures of the Christmas sweater and the kid.  Oh, he really did have a purpose to wearing the sweater, it was an ugly christmas sweater party.  What a great idea for a party theme.  Then low and behold Kirby (of the Tribune) has his ugly christmas sweater on and his column was on the fatal fashion idea of christmas sweaters.  The kid had fun and he said there were a lot of good laughs at the party over the sweaters. Dogs that reside @ the animal farm

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingFirst we have Johnny Cash who has grown quite a bite since last Christmas when we rescued him.   He loves everyone but wants to be top dog, and this causes him to bark way toooooo much.  But he’s a very good puppy dog. 
Then we have the demon in the dog suit, you wouldn’t know it looking at her pictures, ( she is alive)  but she will go after any dog and bite to kill.. Cash doesn’t care and he has enough fur to be pretty protected.  The Dukes sister thinks Sopie is very evil though.  Sophie tried to kill her French Bull dog.  I think it was because they are so ugly.  Just my opinon though.  Sophie loves kids and people and doesn’t shed.

The next four legged member of the family is Hemi (as in Dodge Truck, that is correct.  She is full working Border Collie, although she hasn’t ever hearded a sheep, she try to heard the cats and children.  The cats jump over her or run away and the kids run to Mom.  She is the typical intelligent, requires lots of atttention Border Collie.    This is the house.  I don’t think there is room for even a gold fish.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The kids down the block

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingThese are the cutest kids down the block that i know.  This one is full of mischief and more.  Grandma was thrilled to see them in there hand knitted sweaters and skirt for Santa pictures.

I had 1 sec to sit her on this bench and take the picture before she jumped off and ran away.  We tried multiple times, this was the clearest.  Sorry you can’t squeeze them is person and get hugs and kisses.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingMy good friend MW and I have now knit 28 of these little jewels and we are still knitting. So catch us if you can, but I don’t think you can cuz we’re the ball band knitters.

Then this pumpkin I had to show off because it only took a year to complete.  It was knit in sections and when it came time to sew them together i magically lost it in the bottom of a bag.  Unfortunately it worked its way up again and insisted on being put together.  Well now I’m glad i listened to the little felted pumpkin.  Oh that was fun felting too, I stuffed it with plastic bags as per instructions to felt, but they escaped during the wash cycle.  There were plastic bags full of water every wear but in the pumpkin, the queen mother and i caught them stuffed them back inside said pumpkin and continued on.  Hurray another finished project.  I really liked the stem on this pumpkin.  It is from knitty.

The animal farm

This is Battman and Sonny, Cher left home and Robin is hiding in the back of the kennel. We will catch him later.  Oh here is Robin, he is just darling don’t you think?  We have not had good luck with our micers in the last year.   Jax was first, then Frankie, then Cher and Sonny although we did find Sonny at his old homestead.  All but Sonny had a fateful end.  Now I do believe that Durango has also met a bad raccoon. We have had our moment of silence and must go on for the sake of the kittens.

They brought me a mouse yesterday, good little kittens.
